Day 4: It's not over!
I was not feeling well today…
Not from cough or cold; but from no usage of phone and social media.
Everything today felt motionless.
Time was slow…
This problem wasn’t solved from yesterday.
Each second, Each minute, Each hour passed slow.
Suddenly a lot of time appeared in front of me.
It was as if life was going in slow motion.
24 Hours didn’t feel like 24 anymore.
When have you felt similar?
What was going on?
My brain was shooting the same behaviour again and again.
It required dopamine hit; but wasn’t getting one.
It felt it was in danger.
My brain was rewiring — this was sure.
What felt like a small habit, now felt like a big addiction.
We are unknown and unaware.
If you want to become aware, read till the end: I have something.
It was evening
Amidst this chaos, it was now evening.
Usually an easy time; and it was.
I kind of felt motivated… for the first time in this digital detox.
Something hit me and time was good.
Life seemed good.
It wasn’t the urges getting stopped; but they were meaningless.
For this time.
Evening was cool and reflective; my focus was getting back.
Conclusion
This day was hard; just like the others.
But, the evening brought a sense of coolness and some motivation.
Evening came with some hope and my focus was focusing.
Wait… What about the thing I said I would offer.
Don’t worry.
Here’s the thing I promised.
It’s an experience of mine after a few detoxes.
It shared how the first 48-Hours of a detox are and how to apply one for knowing how much addicted you are.
Not the cure, but to find the cure.
